MUSIC OF MY LIFE...
I am a guy who loves going to antique stores to absorb the charm of a particular era usually captured on an old magazine or post card.
My mother told me once that I was simply born in the wrong decade. I grew up in Brazil and sometimes I would be there in the kitchen while she cooked, singing old American Standards. It was the 70's but that would not stop me from singing the hits of the 30's, 40's and 50's.
She did not mind the old tunes, but she did think I

was an odd teenager and loved me anyway. She liked to listen to them and remember the past. So I grew up singing those tunes in the kitchen and then everywhere.
Music has healing powers, particularly the songs of the 40's and 50's. They brought magic, dreams, and healing to the American soul in so many ways that I think it is worth keeping it going.
So, as a salute to those magic composers and interpreters, I decided to start Memory Lane and it was something that happened gradually.

I want you to know that the people that book me get always a good sample of songs of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, among others.What I sing is part of my life, so they are memories, not just songs.
